We are an outdoor outfitters in Seabrook, on the beautiful Washington Coast (you can find out more about Seabrook here). Our store is a nod to the rich history of surfing in Pacific Beach. Red Cedar Outfitters gets its name from the historic Aloha Lumber Mill, which made cedar surf boards on the coast of Washington in the early 1920s. We offer a selection of outdoor wear that will prepare you for any weather in the Pacific Northwest! You can find quality brands in men's and women's clothing and shoes, as well as, longboards, skimboards, surf gear, and more!
Most people are shocked there is surfing out here, but it is a growing sport out here in the PNW! Yes, a wetsuit is required, so stop in and gear up before you head out. If you are wondering, where do we surf out here? Easy answer, anywhere the surf looks good! We often surf right out here at Seabrook's beach. It is a beach break, with two sandbars creating an easy, medium, hard scale for surfing of all ages. If you are looking for a bit more consistency in waves, we recommend trying Damon Point, Ocean Shores, or Westport, also a point break.
If you are planning a surf trip out here and want to check the weather and waves, we recommend checking out Windy.com, it will give you weather, swells, wind speeds, everything you need to prep for coming out here and surfing!

Welcome to the gateway to the Olympics. You cannot make your way out to the Washington coast without checking out at least one hike spot. There are so many great hiking trails, and nature spots to explore! Once out here in Seabrook, it is only a 45 minute drive to the first hike spot. Quinault Lake. It is scenic and has a great selection of long and short hikes around the lake and into the forest surrounding the lake. Further up, about an hour and a half you enter the Olympic National Park. There are so many trails out here, we can't even count! But we promise you will have fun no matter which one you pick. From there you will run into the Hoh Rainforest. The trails here will show you an amazing display of nature at its finest. The scenery is almost out of a fantasy. Need help finding trails? The national park site, is an incredibly helpful site (you can find it here). Or stop by the local bookstore, Joie Des Livres, for a great selection of books on local hiking.
Camping is a popular past time out here. Most of our day trippers are out here camping and exploring. You can find campsites up and down the coast, including RV campsites. The closest to Seabrook is Pacific Beach State Park, located right on the beach by Joe Creek. Fifteen minutes south of Seabrook, in Copalis Beach Echoes of the Sea is another good spot to checkout if you are considering coming out here. Further up North amongst the Olympic National Park there are a flurry of campsites. We recommend checking their site to see where the best spots are for your trip. Camping is a lot of fun out here, but remember to respect the nature around you.
Being on the Washington coast, there are too many beaches to count! And everyone has their favorites. We have a few recommendations. If you are looking for a drive on beach near Seabrook, you have two options: Mocrocks up North in Pacific Beach; or Roosevelt Beach, south headed towards Copalis Beach. Both are okay to drive onto, but please follow the signage and respect the beach and creatures on it. As for beaches to visit, Ruby Beach and First Beach are two of the most popular beaches. They provide some breathtaking views and great photo opportunities. Kalaloch is also a great beach to explore, and is also the home of the Life Tree. Definitely a must visit. These are just a small selection, we recommend stopping and exploring wherever catches your eye. The Washington coast contains an amazing variety of beaches and sites, we are sure no matter where you end up out here it will be beautiful.
